I was mainly responding to the complaints I heard myself, which were mainly about the detention of citizens. Though it looks like the bill also includes legal alien residents, also there is a line about people arrested in the United States but I will have to look at that again.

There is a lot of stuff I don't agree with in there, but I suspect if I pulled any other random law I would have similar issues with it. Laws can be changed after they're passed, though. I mean, look at everything they've done to the Affordable Care Act and most of it isn't even enacted yet!

Re: I can read!

You've covered most of the salient points. Some who oppose the bill on those clauses do so as the Constitution protects all people, not just citizens from indefinite detention.

The bill information is also full of questionable decision making. So NDAA of 2012 is a pretty odd bill to punch through, but it's pretty much too late to stop it.

And SOPA/PROTECTIP are definitely high on the list of bills to discuss.

Re: The Gaia Wars, by Kenneth G. Thank you for the wonderful review. I'm so glad you enjoyed reading the story through Alex's senses. I knew it was a risk to narrate blind, but it was such a growth opportunity too!
